We were a group of six and we ate tapas style. It's a great place to share delicious food.
Excellent bar with mostly small or smaller plates for food. Bar area has a mix of bar seats along with high tops and regular tables. Another area has regular tables. The food is really good, we had 3 plates and 2 cocktails which was just enough to eat. Bar area can be a little noisy depending on where you're seated.
The Rusted Cactus has quickly become one of our favorite places to eat in southern Utah. It has a more upscale vibe than your typical spot, but still feels comfortable and welcoming. The chef-inspired dishes are always top-notch, with flavors that feel really thought out and beautifully presented. The full bar is great too, with plenty of options whether you’re in the mood for a cocktail, a glass of wine, or just something simple. It’s our go-to when we want a nicer night out without anything feeling stuffy—highly recommend checking it out.
Still daydreaming about our dinner at Xetava Bar & Kitchen!! Every single dish we had was delicious. Definitely try the short rib, the quesadilla and the burger!! And sit on the patio, it is just lovely!! Just returned AGAIN and loved every bite! If you want delicious food, friendly staff and the best tapas, this is it! I love that every time I go there's one or two new dishes on the menu.
Every penny worth it. The atmosphere is stunning—cactus garden meets arboretum, all with red rock views. Cocktails were flawless: the lavender lemon drop, espresso martini, and paloma were 5 stars. Food-wise, everything was perfect for sharing. Standouts: ahi sushi nachos, the best cauliflower I’ve ever had, flavorful street corn carnitas, and a refreshing yuzu spring salad. And don’t skip dessert—the butter cake is next level. Crystallized edges, dense and moist center, not overly sweet—perfection with berries and cream. Service was attentive and genuinely kind. Can’t wait to come back.
The most spectacular night vibes of any bar in Southern Utah. Very classy and relaxed. The views are stunning. The food is always phenomenal, I've never had anything here I didn't enjoy. The service is always very friendly and quick. Drinks here are also exciting and fresh. It's fun to see people go outside the box and hit a home run on flavor and service. You won't regret coming here. Make sure you try the sushi nachos!
Heading north out of St George to the restaurant on old Hwy 91 at sunset driving along the red cliffs was spectacular turning into Kayenta. A relaxed atmosphere with Indoor and outdoor sitting depending on wind and temp - would definitely make a reservation before the drive - you dont want to be disappointed if full as it is a popular venue. I had the mushrooms with toasted pita and the Steak Gyro but all the menu items looked great. Service was excellent and the food fantastic. If you don't go to the Rusted Cactus, you're missing out on some great food, friendly service & great atmosphere. We dined New Years Eve and we're lucky to get a table. The Korean Cauliflower was no doubt, the best. Not sure what they did to make it so tasty but I will make it my life's work to find out. The salmon was delicious and the chicken parmigiana was very tasty. The only criticism was it was a little too thin but it was still very good. Portions were very appropriate and worth the money. Prices are good.
Just tried Rusted Cactus for the first time and it was SO good! We made reservations a few days prior and when we got there we were seated right away. Our waitress, Morgan, was amazing, super friendly, attentive and made the experience even better. The food was phenomenal. The street corn quesadillas are a must, the burrata was incredible, and the fries were so good. For entrées we had the salmon, filet, and parmesan chicken, and every single one was delicious. If you’re looking for a new date night spot, we couldn’t recommend Rusted Cactus enough. Such a hidden gem, we’ll definitely be back!
I will say that the restaurant was a little hard to find, my family accidentally went to the other restaurant and the lady working there was kind enough to bring us to the right one. The atmosphere was amazing, such a cozy little place definitely something I can’t find at my home. Service was nice our waitress, Crystal was super nice. And the food was absolutely to die for, I got the salmon it was so delicious, and for dessert I got the butter cake. I highly recommend the butter cake to anyone if you see it on the menu.
